Okay, so I’m kind of late on the uptake for this one! I was tagged for it before Halloween, I just never got around to it. I probably could have left it until next year, but I figured who cares that it’s almost Christmas? There’s no time limit on tags right! Ariana over at the Quirky Book Nerd nominated me for this tag, so thank you Ariana! Sorry I’ve been so tardy on doing it. Check out Ariana’s post here:

Favourite scary must read for Halloween
I challenge you not to read this and not be creeped out. It will not happen! I usually love the creepy factor in books I read, but I have to say, certain parts of this book were too creepy even for me. Perfect Halloween read!
Scariest book cover, like ever…..
I’ve never read anything by Stephen King, nor do I ever think I’m going to, because scary books are so not my thing, but I found this book when I was looking for scary covers and it really creeped me out. Why do people think clowns are funny? Clowns are freaking scary!
If you could pick any author to go trick or treating with, who would you pick?
I reckon trick or treating with Derek Landy would be an absolute riot! Having met him this year, I can say he’s definitely as hilarious as he seems and I think we would have a great time.
If you could dress up as any bookish character for Halloween, who would you be?
Obviously, if I could dress up as any bookish character for Halloween, I would choose my favourite character, Hermione to dress up as.
If you could find anything, from any book in your trick or treat stash, what would you hope to find?
I would love to have Annabeth’s invisibility cap. I could have gone with the invisibility cloak from Harry Potter, but I thought that would be too predictable and wanted to go with something different. I would love to be able to turn invisible and eavesdrop on other people’s conversations, hear what they said about me behind my back! Plus being able to sneak into places would be really fun!
In what fictional world would you like to go trick or treating?
I’m not sure about trick or treating, but I would love to spend Halloween at Hogwarts! Can you imagine how fun it would be? Plus the feast would be incredible.
What book villain would you not like to meet alone in a dark alley on Halloween?
I feel like most people would probably say Voldemort for this question and I have to admit he was the first villain to come to mind, but I wanted to choose someone a little less predictable, so I went with President Snow. He’s really creepy looking and just plain scary. If he met me in a dark alley, he’d probably try to kill me, so I definitely would not want to be alone with him.
Would you rather dress up as a vampire, zombie, werewolf or a shadowhunter?
I wouldn’t really want to dress up as any of these, but I think out of the four, I’d rather dress up as a vampire. But the classic kind, not the kind from Twilight. If I was going to dress up as a vampire, I’d rather be scary than sparkly.
Pick one candy (just one) from Harry Potter that you would love to find in your stash?
Does this count since it’s technically a box? When I had a German exchange a few years ago, she and her friends bought a box of these at the Harry Potter shop at King’s Cross Station and it was so much fun because you didn’t know which flavour you were going to get, so I’d love to find these in my Halloween stash.
What is your favourite Halloween candy?
This is really hard because I love most chocolate, but Revels are definitely amongst my favourites! The orange ones are the best!
If you want to be a rebel like me and do a Halloween tag two weeks before Christmas, then go ahead, I tag you!
What an awesome tag!! I love your answers.
Thank you!
Great answers! And yes, clowns are terrifying!
Thanks! Yes they are!
Yay! Absolutely loved reading your answers! Thank you for doing the tag 😀 Love that you chose Annabeth’s cap over the invisibility cloak. And I have never heard of Revels before, but they sound incredible. I’m definitely going to have to find them and give them a try one day!
No problem, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, I thought it would be different, plus a hat is so much less conspicuous than a cloak! They are awesome!
